This was named after our public bus line Aqui in Taos. We chose chile and cactus motifs to express the character of our beloved town. The very inventive Terri Ranck got us going all
out on this one. It started with a cardigan, easy enough, but then we thought why not make the sleeves unbutton so that it can also be a vest?
So we did. This piece is knit up in Fair Isle, in many delicious shades of our Custom Millspun Worsted.
*Note about size - This is pattern is written for a size medium. To make sweater a bit smaller, knit entire body on size 9 needles, to make larger, knit on size 10 needles.
*Note about kit - Because of our standard 4 oz. custom millspun skeins, you will have extra yarn (about 2 oz.) left over in 4 colors - Undyed, Apple Green, Madder and Hunter Green. We welcome you to return these extra portions if you like for store credit.
