People are loving our felt for all kinds of creative projects. You will be inspired to create your own.

Sizes and Shapes – we start by cutting out rectangles of felt and then plant dye them, which felts them further. The felting process makes the final shape a little unpredictable. For this reason we sell our felt by weight.

Our usual size weighs approximately an ounce. If you would like larger pieces, we are happy to accommodate you. Felt plant dyed colors are available in all our plant dyed yarns except our “over greys”. We will continue to add to these colors selections, so please check back or call our store for what is currently available.

P.S. Note from Luisa: People always wonder how we come up with new delights - by accident mostly. This one happened out at the mill. Robert Donnelley, our main mill man, also has a felting business and he had inadvertently left some felt scraps. We were at the mill doing some carding when I spied them about to be swept up into the garbage. Being constitutionally unable to leave anything white, I scooped them up and brought them to our dye pots to see how they would take our dyes.

Fabulously as it turns out, and so a new product was born...
